Nacel International School System: An International Education Curriculum Over the past eight years, the teachers and staff in St. Paul have been developing a distinctive curriculum for the network of schools. This curriculum, known as the International Education Curriculum, infuses the MN State and National Standards for education in all subject areas with International Education principles. 1 Students will demonstrate proficiency in Nacel’s international academic curriculum. Students will develop and refine their critical thinking skills. 2 Students will demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively within an intercultural context. 3 Students will exhibit personal and social responsibility. 4

More than 90% of St. Paul Prep School students matriculate to domestic/international colleges and universities upon graduation. • A counselor service is also available for our students to apply to more than 1000 Colleges and Universities at the same time. • College Preparation Courses: Students will learn to research colleges, write a college resume, request counselor forms, transcripts, teacher recommendations and much more. This course will include instructions on registering for • the SAT and TOEFL and ways to prepare for these exams.   25. How to apply? Requirements • Applicants to the Nacel International School System : • Are high achieving, motivated students with a proven academic record • Are committed to studying while on the program • Have not yet graduated from high school in their home country (unless they are planning to attend college in the US) • Are proficient in English • Are interested in learning about cultures of the world including American education and culture. • Are open-minded and comfortable interacting with people from different cultures • Plan to pursue higher education (either in the US or abroad) • Are flexible and capable of integrating with a host family or at the boarding quarters • May have other talents and abilities (sports, music, art, etc.) that will contribute to the community’s life • Should prove their interest in the local culture and language (Chinese, Polish, French etc.) if they apply to study on our campuses in Europe and Asia. Scholarship and financial aids • Nacel International Schools may offer a scholarship and financial aid scheme for the students in need • Scholarship and financial aids are awarded based on financial resources, origin country, academic and English profile, talents and abilities, motivation, study and career goals etc.

  26. How to apply? Application procedure • Choose your campus among the 4 campuses open to all students (St Paul Preparatory School, St Paul American School, Notre-Dame International High School or St Paul American Christian School) or among the 5 local campuses in China, Poland, South Korea and Vietnam • Require the Nacel International School application form • Collect all requested supporting documents, including official school transcripts, teachers’ recommendations, awards etc. • Prepare your scholarship application if any Acceptance • Nacel International office will review the application and submit it to the school admission office • Nacel International office issues the needed acceptance documents and invoice • Each school prepares visa supporting documents • Students are picked up at the closest airport to the school on arrival and attend an orientation at school.
