  9. Effective Implementation • Embed it in the architecture student learning experience. • Complement existing systems such as Review / Crit / Portfolio assessment. Make it part of existing staff student relationship:studio system.

  10. The Studio • Students have to add to comment made by tutors in the crit, • Portfolio comments: at end of year staff write comments/ students write response. • Next academic session , a continuing process from first year through to diploma

Example • 2003 Started with first year students as self assessment element • 2004 developed to become an interview and log book after ILP ( individual learning profile) for all first years • Applied to all undergraduate years • Feedback form students/ staff Important to recognise different needs of different academic years • PDP log book : self development over architecture course
