Adding a Peg • Draw object to move • Extend drawing over number of desired frames • Insert Peg • Attach object to peg by dragging on top • Right click on first frame of drawing and add keyframe • Right click on the last frame of drawing and add keyframe • Choose motion tool • Move object to desired location • Test Attached to peg Add new element Drawing Peg
3 Frame Animation -Draw bird with wings in position one in frame 1 -Turn on Onion Skin -Draw bird with wings in position two in frame 2 -Draw bird with wings in position three in frame 3 -Select these frames and copy -Paste these frames in frames 4, 5 and 6 -Continue pasting these frames to desired length -Add peg -Attach bird drawing to peg -Insert keyframe in frame 1 and insert keyframe in last frame - Choose motion tool and move bird
Lip-Syncing • Create a new drawing exposure • Rename it “Mouth” • Insert a sound element • Import sound file • Right click on sound element and choose lip-sync mapping • Draw mouth images in eight frames that match with the 8 positions identified in Toon Boom Studio • Right click on sound file and choose edit sound. Click in the sound element window (it will turn blue) and click on lip-sync. Click ok. • Right click on sound element and choose lip-sync mapping. Replace the letters with the numbers of the frames in which you drew the mouth images. Click ok. • test
Exporting Movie File • Choose file, export movie. Choose destination and format
