  1. Mythbusters • GOALS: • To use scientific inquiry in evaluating a scientific statement or question • To apply the scientific method in solving a problem

  2. Mythbusters ROLE: You’re hired as a “mythbuster” who is tasked to find out the truth about certain myths. In doing so, you are to use the scientific method to determine the scientific bases for posted questions. You will also identify misconceptions that arise as a result of these investigations.

  3. Mythbusters SITUATION: An interesting myth was presented to you and you are compelled to “bust” it. You are going to research on the myth and come up with a plan on how to investigate it.

  4. Mythbusters • PRODUCT/PERFORMANCE: • A research paper which includes the plan for investigation (procedure) and the science articles used as reference to understand the problem/question • A video showing the experiment/s done to bust the myth
