Service Desk – Two Don’ts 1. Do not reply to an email received from Service Desk. NCC will never receive that response. 2. Do not ever Edit Request. If you need to add or correct information, choose to Add Comment and provide clarification.
Sirsi Workflows Library Staff Accounts NCC has gone paperless for forms related to the creation, modification, and deletion of library staff accounts. These requests must now be entered in Service Desk under the ncc.library.accounts.* request areas:
Sirsi Workflows Library Staff Accounts New Accounts: Each district’s main school administrator was provided with the option to either submit requests for New Accounts him/herself or to authorize another individual to do so on their behalf. If another individual has been authorized, the liaison has been notified. Modified/Closed Accounts: For accounts that need to be modified or closed, the library liaison may make those requests.
Sirsi Workflows Library Staff Accounts In brief, once the appropriate request area is selected, a form will appear with the fields to complete. It’s easy, saves paper, saves time, and streamlines the whole request process. We hope you like it!

Tab Placement Tabs default to top of screen. Place a check in ‘Tabbed windows on bottom’ for tab placement at the bottom of screen.
Caution!!!!! Clicking on the menu is a hard habit to break! Watch Finished Reports… if you click Finished Reports from the pop up menu, it creates a new tab.
Duplicate tabs can be useful CHECK OUT Normal circulation period and Special Due Date

In some situations, wrong user checkouts displaying… Fix: Highlight the YES radio button
Check-in one item from Fred, who has MULTIPLE checkouts on his record. Click on Fred’s patron barcode and everything looks good. You see Fred’s other checkout (Book B) still on his record.
Check-in the one (AND ONLY) item checked out to Barney. Click on Barney’s patron barcode and you’ll see that the ‘remaining’ checkout on Fred’s record appears.
One last item… Be sure your filepath is mapped properly. If you receive this error message: You need to change these defaults. See Sirsi Doc ‘S15.1.1 - Report Session’ for easy-to-follow instructions!
