“Wellness” is the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort.
6 Components of Health Wellness = Being the best we can in every area of our HEALTH makes up our well-being, also known as our WELLNESS.
“Physical health” is everything that has to do with our bodies. • It includes personal attention to and maintenance of overall health through nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and positive healthy habits. Physical Health

Emotionally healthy people feel safe and secure with their own emotions and feelings. • They express emotions in positive, nondestructive ways. They are assertive about their needs. • They are able to cope with unpleasant emotions in healthy ways. Emotional Health
If you are emotionally healthy, chances are good that you have a healthy self-esteem. • Your emotional health can greatly influence all the other areas of your health.
“Social health” refers to the relationships you have in your life with family and friends and the kinds of support that you receive from them. Social Health • Socially healthy people respect others and avoid those who don’t treat them with respect and tolerance.
