How To Mount Correx, Foamex and Acrylic Sign Boards
Types of Signage There are many different types of signage available e.g. foamex, correx, PVC, vinyl etc and employing the same method to mount them will not be appropriate. Here we will discuss mounting process for different signage based on their type.
CORREX BOARDS Correx is a lightweight material and it is used for signs because it can be mounted easily. Correx boards can be mounted in a variety of different ways – by drilling holes in them, by using tape, glue, or any other adhesive material.
FOAMEX BOARDS Foamex is a strong and sturdy material that makes it best for outdoor mounting. One can mount them by drilling holes, using screw bolts, by string cables etc. A double sided tape can also be used if you don't want to drill holes.
ACRYLIC SIGNS Acrylic is a much more sturdy material than fomaex and correx and it gives a professional touch. The most recommended and convenient way to display acrylic signs is by using a standoff. You will need to drill holes into the sign, but it is the most convenient way to mount acrylic signs.
