French Service Learning The syllabus • Varies depending on type of placement • Some elements common to all placements, eg training on: • Role of the volunteer • Volunteer expectations and obligations including placement agreements and codes of practice • Professional boundaries and confidentiality • Issues of health and safety
French Service Learning Hours of attendance • Mutually agreed between student, organisation and the course convener • 100 hours per 10 credits
