Our target is 9,10,11 and 12 year oldsand both boys and girls
Our target wants……a glider that does stunts and stays in the air at a long period of time that they can design by themselves that looks like a bird or some thing crazy
The first glider we made we learned about how wing span can help the way it flies by a lot and that different things cause different effects (cause and effect)
how…1st- cut out a 17 by 2.5 inches rectangle2nd-cut out two 3 by 2.75 rectangle3rd-cut out a 3 by 1.5 rectangle4th-now get 6 grams of clay on the tip of the balsa wood and make the clay pointy5th-one at a time cut the edge of each rectangle of to an trapezoid look6th-use to rubber bands to put the biggest rectangle shape and put it 2.8 inches away from the clay tip7th-put the two rectangles that are the same size together and put it 2 inches away from, the back now the last rectangle, put it 1 inch away from the two you just put on the balsa wood 8th-now make sure everything is right and tight
how to make it glide and flyto make fly straight hold your hand to your side and make a right angle and pull back and go forwardto make do stunts go straight for ward and move the the rudder left or right depending on which way you want in to go
