Corporate – Capital Structure Total shares on issue 221.3M Unlisted Options • 1.0 M @ $0.25 (Dec 2013) • 1.0 M @ $0.15 (Sep 2014) • 4.8 M @ $0.15 (Nov 2014) Current Share Price • $0.012 @ 11 Nov 2013 Market Cap • $2.4 M
Project Locations • Oakover & Ethel Creek (Mn) • McArthur & Caranbirini (ZnPbAg)
Project Locations • East Pilbara Mn Province • Two Mn projects of similar geological style to BMY’s Oakover project: • Ant Hill (Mineral Resources) • Nicholas (Balfour) Downs (Mineral • Resources / HPPL) • Brumby has made a significant greenfields Mn discovery – Inferred Mineral Resource of • 64Mt @ 10% Mn at 8% Mn cut off. • Numerous untested or partially tested new Mn targets on BMY tenements • Access to regional infrastructure
What’s so good about Manganese? • 94% of Mn is used in steelmaking to increase strength, toughness, hardness and malleability – there are no satisfactory substitutes for Mn in steel making • A “green” metal: • Alkaline battery industry • Research into use in photovoltaic cells • Currently unable to substitute or recycle Mn
Oakover Target Overview Sixty Sixer JayEye Karen Relinquished area
Oakover RC drilling Full results for Phase 2 (red dots) were reported in BMY’s 8/6/2012 release to the ASX Relinquished area
Upgraded Mineral Resource Estimate Full results were reported in BMY’s 8/6/2012 release to the ASX Sixty Sixer and JayEyeprospects – Mineral Resource summary, 8% Mn cutoff Competent Persons’ Statement The information in this report that relates to Mineral Resource Estimate and Reporting is based on information compiled by Robert H Spiers (BSc (Hons), MAIG), who is a Member of The Australasian Institute of Geoscientists. Robert Spiers is a full time employee of H&S Consultants Pty Ltd and has sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the ‘Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves’. Mr Spiers consents to the inclusion in the report of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears.
Hydrometallurgical Testwork Full results were reported in BMY’s 30/7/2013 release to the ASX • Leaching the Mn ore with H2SO4 in the presence of SO2 gas at various pH levels • Hydrometallurgical testwork where Mn is leached out of the rock into a leachate, where it can be precipitated as various products • 14 samples testedfrom 3 geological domains at the Sixty Sixer Project, varying head grades • In the MnL domain (50% of MR tonnes) 98% of the Mn was extracted using 64 kg acid/t min. • In the MnS domain (41% of MR tonnes) 97% of the Mn was extracted using 521 kg acid/t min. • Purification and precipitation testwork is in progress and optimisation expected to take place early 2014
Regional Targeting Untested Mn outcrop at Taya - significant potential
Oakover Strategy • Sixty Sixer • First half 2014 - Optimisation of precipitation testwork and scoping study • Oakover Potential • Q3 - Taya ridge exploration drilling
NT McArthur, Yalco North and Caranbirini Projects McArthur River Mine - Xstrata 227Mt @ 4.1% Pb, 9.2% Zn and 41.0g/t Au
McArthur River Mine - Xstrata • Operating since 1995, open cut from 2006, $270m expansion in progress • Will increase capacity from 2.5Mtpa to 5.5Mtpa and produce nearly 800,000t of zinc-lead concentrate a year • Expansion to increase McArthur’s mineable reserves from 53Mt to 115Mt and extend the life of the mine by nine years to 2036 • M+ I Resource – 162Mt @10.7% zinc, 4.47% lead, 48g/t silver
McArthur Project – 2011/2012 • Two diamond holes drilled • Elevated Zn and Mn values were intersected in BCDD001 • BCDD002 drilled 2012 to follow up but did not intersect significant mineralisation
McArthur Diamond Drilling 4m @ 0.11% Zn from 209m 1m @ 0.13% Zn from 220m Elevated Mn Full results reported in December 2011 and 2012 Quarterly Announcements to the ASX
McArthur Leases – Caranbirini Project • 4 x diamond holes drilled in 2012 to test VTEM anomalies • AAPA authorisation granted in Feb 2012 allowing access From Rox Resources website
McArthur Leases – Caranbirini Project • CPDH003 intersected anomalous zinc (Zn) at target depth predicted by VTEM geophysics. • Elevated Zn values included • 9m @ 1000ppm Zn from 42.4m* and • 0.2m @ 1923ppm Zn from 56m depth* • 0.8m @ 11.5 g/t Ag from 31.1m was also intersected in CPDH003* (Results prove that mineralising processes have been active in the area, and that the geophysics has successfully identified the mineralised zones • The mineralised zone is also associated with elevated barium, arsenic, cobalt and manganese; all of which are pathfinder elements for McArthur River-style Zn-Ag-Pbmineralisation * note that true thickness of reported intercepts cannot be determined until the attitude of the mineralisation is known. Full results were reported in BMY’s 9th Nov 2012 Announcement to the ASX
McArthur Leases – Caranbirini Project 620m to top RewDol, 820m to base RewDol
McArthur Leases – Yalco North • New targeting work done by Coffey Mining and Fathom Geophysics • Analysed 1990s MIM soil samples for first time – these have never been followed up at depth • Combined with structural analysis and local knowledge • Preliminary reconnaissance underway, geochemical surface sampling expected as part of 2014 field programme
Summary • Mn and base metals - highly sought after commodities • NT base metal targets – all permitting, targeting, planning complete for next phase of exploration
