If I Were President

2. Introduction If I was president I would want to make the world a better place . My main topics are families, a greener world, stopping the war and protecting animals. I hope you like what I have to bring to the Oval Office.

3. Helping Children and Families • I’d raise money for charities. • I’d make sure all kids have a chance to go to school. • I’d help children with hunger and shelter problems. • I’d pack food for children in Haiti. • I’d encourage and help kids go to college, because sometimes they think they can’t ,but they can.

4. Families Continued • I’d help improve schools ,education is very important to me. • For example, I would make sure special kids in need and kids who need extra help get the things they need ,because everyone deserves the right education.

5. Protect The Animals • I’d stop horse slaughter, because horses are important to me • I’d make sure all animals are in a safe environment • I’d help nature reserves and protect endangered animals so they can live longer and happier lives • For example I’d help the Pygmy Two toed sloth who is on the endangered species list.

6. A Greener Environment • I’d help to stop polluting. • I’d try to make cars and factories greener, for example a car that runs on water so the air we breath is safe. • I’d make everyone stop cutting down forests. • I’d make everyday things greener ,for example paper ,houses and garbage dumps. • For example I’d plant trees, flowers and gardens and encourage others to do the same.

7. A Cure For Cancer • I would work hard to cure cancer and then diabetes, the flu, obesity and high blood pressure. • I would hire good researchers and doctors to get the job done right. • For example I would find someone who is devoted to curing cancer.

8. War With The World • I’d help stop the fighting and make peace • I’d stop the war in Afghanistan. • I’d go to every veteran to thank them and surprise their families with a present.

9. Children and War • Think-if you were a little five year old and you lived around the bombing, you’d be pretty scared, I would be scared. Your mom would try to comfort you, but deep down she’s scared too, scared for her children and for their husbands off at war . Nightmares would keep coming to you and every night when you go to bed there would be firing outside. So I say stop the wars ,because that is a scary situation for a five year old.

10. Incorporating Ideas • I’d meet with people ,families and friends and discus their ideas(as long as they’re safe). • I’d come up with ideas so there are more jobs. • I’d lower taxes, to help the economy. • I’d improve security and stop crime. • For example if someone had the idea to build homeless shelter with supplies to people who need it ,I’d work hard to make that come true.

11. Holidays and Celebrations • I’d have an organizer plan out great parties for every holiday (that are family friendly). • I’d make my house a museum so every new president can add something like an artifact or something special to them. • For example ,I’d have a big celebration for the 4th of July and Christmas and I’d invite all religions.

12. Conclusion I hope now you now see what is important to me. If I were the president I’d be a kind and fair leader. I hope you liked my ideas and maybe even agree with me on some things. See you in the Oval Office.
