A high risk investment, Investor looking for big profit gives money to young company in exchange for a piece of the company, when the company makes $$ they sell for a big profit. 3 out of 4 venture capital bets don’t return any money to investors, they wait for the 4th business to make it. Examples of exceptions are Facebook and Twitter.
