  1. All You Need to Know about Cambridge Immerse History And Computer Science Courses As the winter departs with the dawn of spring, summer too draws nigh. However as HW Longfellow writes “we have no time to stand and stare”. If a student is very serious about his or her career, he/she starts looking for ways to make his/her Curriculum Vitae the best in the market. Summers are a good time to ponder upon the course you would like to pursue on the university level, which university at all, would you choose and/or to brush up your knowledge on your chosen subject(s). To summarize, this time is basically a time to choose and ascertain the career path for oneself. To aid students in this, the Universities, especially in the UK seem to have taken a great deal of initiatives in opening a program basically of two weeks or more, known as ‘Summer Schools’. These programs include a vast variety of subjects which range from Humanities to Science to Arts etc. However, these courses are basically introductory in nature that is, not as deep as a University course, but rather gives the student a ‘feel’ of the university-level education system. The course also is so developed as to make the student be able to either choose a career path or to brush up his/her knowledge.

  2. In the present discourse, however; we shall be reflecting upon both, Cambridge History Summer School and the Computer Science summer course. The famed and eminent University of Cambridge has established a summer school program named ‘Cambridge Immerse’. What is Cambridge Immerse? Cambridge Immerse is a two week residential educational experience adorned with a diverse and rich curriculum. The program fosters an optimal educational environment in which the students learn through workshops and extraordinary tutorials by well-known professor of the universities of Cambridge and Oxford.

  3. 1.Cambridge Immerse History Course The History course offered by Cambridge Immerse is a combination of exciting as well as engaging and covers topics of A- and IB- levels. Further, the course also teaches the students University level topics, but in an easy manner (easy enough for them to understand. The Course basically entails ‘Late Medieval and Early Modern Princely Courts’. 2.Cambridge Immerse Computer Science Course The Summer School usually provides an introduction to Computer Science as a subject. The course devotes itself basically on the fundamentals and theoretical approaches to the subject and so on. In brevity, both of the courses are taster courses which give the students an insight into what the University will be like.
