Introduction • Mandate of expert group: • revise concept paper • no unnecessary changes (ic. the dimensions) • Actions expert group • 1ststep: consultation within group on main issues and direction to take • 2nd step: revise text
Main elements of concept of QoE • QoE is complicated multi-dimensional concept • Perspective of the individual • Can contain indicators on several analytical levels • Statisticians should not define 'good' or 'bad' jobs
Main elements of framework • Framework gives structure to set of indicators • Framework is toolbox to with indicators • Statistical framework • not attached to a (set of) policy agenda (s) • but should be useful to all policy agendas • applicable in international & national contexts • Set of 6 principles defining the framework
Consequences for defining indicators The indicators of QoE: • should covers aspects of work that are linked to workers’ well-being • can be substantiated using international research in this area • are defined on individual level that allow specification for sub-populations • could include both objective as subjective concepts • do not cover access to employment
Work still to be done • Revise (where necessary) the text presenting the dimensions • Elaborate on the context indicators • Improve part on how to use the indicators
