  2. Where its located in the body • The respitory system is located in the head • Neck • And the chest

  3. What are its major functions in the body • Gas exchange allowing oxygen in the air in clean blood, and oltation, the sense of smell.

  4. How our system works with other systems • The respiratory system works with the digestive system the nerves system, muscles system, nervous system, by controlling the breathing rate.

  5. The diseases or disorders of the respiratory system. • One of the disorders is asthma is a disease that non-functions with the bronchial tubes and or airways and makes breathing difficult at night with wheezing. It can be caused by smoking, flu, colds, ect. • Doctors don’t know how to cure asthma but an inhaler will make it easier to breathe.

  6. Some facts about the respiratory system • The right lung is just a bit larger than the left lung. • The highest sneeze speed record is 165 km per hour. • The breathing rate is faster in children and women then in men.

The three questions we have for the respiratory system. • Q: What happens when you inhale Carbon Dioxide? • A: you get a headache and then you would pass out from the lack of oxygen. • Q:What do you exhale? • A:you exhale carbon dioxide • Q:can you live with one lung? • A: you can live with one lung, it will just take changes. You can loose a lung from can cancer and an injury.
