  3. 2002-2007 : MAIN FEATURES • RADECS Council Board largely open to anyone involved in RADECS community. • Links with IEEE RESG are maintained at a high level. • member at large & RADECS LIAISON • IEEE NSREC 2007 radiation effects award • “New” communities well integrated : • Spain, Greece, Finland, .. • Strong involvment of US community : sponsoring, session chairs, speakers, reviewers, ….

CANDIDATURE # 1 : Philippe CALVEL • To create Liaison positions to support and manage successful new initiatives : RADFAC, SERESSA, ESA-RADECS workshop, RALF, School in Italy, … • To increase the high relations with IEEE RESG • According to RASEDA success in Japan and increasing collaborations between Europe & Japan, RADECS to be open to JAPAN • Opening to emerging effects : • terrestrial effects : ASTEP, … • Friendly atmosphere : RADECS is not a battle field
