Help Seekers Volunteers Her thoughts and feelings are almost identical to mine when I had my diagnosis, so I think that she finds that comforting. He is being very helpful and making me gradually work through my feelings over the loss of my husband, we have had some very useful (if painful) conversations People seem so relieved to be able to express their worries, that any further intervention doesn't seem so necessary. Just knowing there is someone who understands means much more than you could imagine.
