  1. Skin Cancer and Its New Revolutionary Treatment Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, and it’s not just for older people. While it’s true that older people are more likely to develop skin cancer, it can happen to anyone at any time — even children!

  2. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC): Basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer in humans. It arises from the basal cells which are located deep under the epidermis (the outer layer of skin). BCC may appear as a red bump or nodule on the skin, often with a central pearly white area. It can also present as a shiny pink patch or plaque. The lesions may become ulcerated over time.
