What are the risk factors for this disease?(What are the causes?) The causes of skin cancer are due to your skin being exposed to the sun. The skin being exposed to the UV radiation of the sun and getting sunburnt are the risk factors. Even though it may not look sunny ultraviolet rays may be quite high.
What are the warning signs or symptoms for this disease? The warning signs or symptoms for skin cancer are different coloured, changing, raised spots your skin. The spots usually a diameter of over six millimetres.
What are the cures for this disease? The cures for this disease is that the cancer can be surgically removed or drugs can be taken as well as chemotherapy, depending on how big the disease is and what’s appropriate.
What can you do to prevent you from the risk factors? To prevent your self from the risk factors of skin cancer you should slip, slop and slap. Slip on a t- shirt or rash vest that also could include wearing sunglasses or other clothing to protect your body from the sun. Slop on some 30+ SPF sunscreen on the parts of your body exposed to the sun. And slap on your hat to protect your face, neck and ears from the sun. You should slip, slop and slap when outdoors or in the sun. Like when you’re at a the park, playing sport or at the beach.
