What does the TB say about teaching pronunciation?? • Generally ,students listen to words or phrases from the conversation that they have just heard. • They identify the correct pronunciation and then repeat .
Do all grades present pronunciation items and exercises ??? In stage 1 Pronunciation doesn't present clearly . It present in TB not in SB
In stage 2 & 3 We can find pronunciation items and exercises in the listening .and speaking lesson
Are there stress exercises?? Yes, there are. • They are very important to reinforce the students abilities in reading and speaking • Its difficult to the student and not activated.
Does the contents page at the beginning of every text book present pronunciation items?? In stage 2 & 3 The content page present pronunciation items.
Are the pronunciation items recycled in subsequent units or textbooks?

How can they be taught? • There is a variety of ways in which this can be done . • For example : In Grade 9 TB :
Give 2 pedagogical values for each of them ?? • To encourage independent reading. • Moral lessons. • To make a nice class and the Ss will be happy. • The Ss get a lot of important things in short time. • To get more vocabulary.
