St Monica Intercession Group Prayer groups within a church, home setting or a cell meeting can be a vibrant time of working with God and to see Jesus answer your prayers for the world, nation, city, and church. Most of all see family members come to know Jesus Christ as there personal Savior. You will see GOD bring marriages together, heal the sick, best of all you will see people learn to pray and have a personal relationship with Jesus. Coming together in small groups of 2 or more in the name of Jesus, the Bible says that Jesus is right there in the middle. We as people I believe do not come to the full realization that this is what happens. We come to pray in our meetings (that's it). As soon as you start using his name, Jesus shows up. Yea, he is there. "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." Mt. 18:20 Divine Presence
All our children belong to God!!! They need our prayers And they are our country’s future What about orphans, unwanted, abused, drug addicts, homeless???? Do they have a mother like St Monica? Don’t we have a responsibility to pray for all our children? Pray for our country? We are helpless with the attitudes of decision makers but we can pray together. Prayer is powerful!!! Join us as together we pray for the conversion of all children, by surrendering them to God, Our Father, with the help of Our Blessed Mother and the intercession of St Monica, the patroness of parents. Through the persistent prayers of St Monica, her son, Augustine turned away from a life of self-indulgence and turned to God and the Church, living a life of holiness, prayer and service to others – for with God all things are possible.
See what Mother Theresa has to say! “The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”
Help needed to get out of theVicious Circle of Poverty Only God can heal Restore the families / our country Give importance to Family values Life is a gift No child is an accident All children belongs to God Count our blessings
Prayer is powerful "O Lord, there is none like You to help the powerless against the strong. Help us, O Lord, our God, for we rely on You, and in Your name we have come against this multitude. You are the Lord, our God; let no man prevail against You" (2 Chr 14:10).
