With so many  beautiful and thrilling destinations to explore, you can start with the famous ones like the Great  Ocean Road or the Gibb River Road. Before leaving for the road trip you need to take care of a few  things from house safety to your safety. We have prepared a checklist to help you with your next  adventure.    It's imperative you plan everything in advance before leaving for your trip because once you are on  the road it might be difficult to get your hands on some things.    License and registration should be in place  Get your car serviced, the mechanic will check everything from the engine to brakes,  ensuring everything is operating properly  House safety is often neglected, make sure you close all the windows and doors properly.  Tell your neighbour or a friend to keep an eye on the house in your absence.  Leave your house like people living there to prevent burglary  Road-trip essentials include pillows for comfort, snacks, power bank, flashlight, blankets,  water bottles, tissues, etc.  ● ● ● ● ●

Medicine box containing all basic supplies like band-aids, thermometer and your prescribed  medicines if any.  A full tank as you might not find petrol stations frequently  Keep your kids entertained and occupied with travel games and other essentials  Music soothes the soul and is a perfect companion for your journey, download music  beforehand, in case of no internet.  Get your insurance policy in place to avoid bearing full cost, if you are met with an accident.  ● ● ● ● ●     Even though you are all set for your road trip, you can still run into trouble on the road. You should  save numbers for roadside assistance. Some are available 24/7 to help irrespective of time and  place. The insurance policy might come handy at this time.
