  2. What is Amniocentesis Test? In this test with help of a very thin needle a small amount of amniotic fluid is inserted, which is surrounded around the baby in the mother’s womb. After that this fluid is take to the laboratory for testing and within 2 or 3 days later you can get results.

  4. Why we need this ? This test is performed to reduce the risk of congenital defect in baby like genetic disorder, birth defect such as neural tube defect and down syndrome.
