  2. Lettering Policy • 15 Decals (STARS) • Stars will be earned! These are earned through a combination of good play, character, commitment and demonstrating what it means to be a H.O.R.N.E.T. • Injured players will be required to attend practice and travel to games to earn their letter. • All- Academic SPSL Honors = 5 stars

  3. Lettering Policy Special Teams • Touchback (K) • Big Hit • Return Touchdown (Runner and return team) • Blocked Field Goal/Punt • Recover Onside Kick (Team) • Scout Team Player of the Week Miscellaneous • Touchdown Saving Tackle • Downing a punt inside the 10 • Punt inside the 20 (P) • Every 5 XP’s (K,S,H) • Every FG (K,S,H) • Scout Team Player of the Week • Breaking a school record

  4. Lettering Policy • Offense • TD (Running, Throwing, Receiving) plus OL • Rushing/Receiving for over 100 yards (RB and OL) • Passing over 200 yards (QB and OL) • Pancake Block • Hustle Block • Defense • Int., Sack, Forced Fumble, Fumble Recovery • Tackles; 5-9 tackles = 1, 10-15 tackles = 2, 16 + tackles = 3 • Big Hit • Shut-out (everyone who played on D and Special Teams)

  5. Weight Lifting and Lettering • 35 or more workouts = 1 star • 50 or more = 2 stars • 100+ = Big Superman Decal = 5 stars and Superman Shirt • Weight Lifting Standards • Bench, Squat, Pro Agility, Clean, Broad Jump, Deadlift, Vertical, 40 • “Hornet Army” shirts will be given out for those who are in the “1200 Club” • 1200 lb core = Bench, Squat, Clean, Deadlift. • Multiple sport athletes have earned two decals per off-season sport.
