E N D
Operations at the site Groß Schönebeck • 2000 reopening of a abbandoned gas well • 2001 primary hydraulic test for determination of initial parameters • 2002 stimulation of Rotliegend sandstones in packer-isolated test intervals with high-viscous fluids (polymers) and proppants • 2002 pumping tests producing 700 m3 of formation fluid (46 days) • 2003 open-hole stimulation (water-frac) in Rotliegend rocks • 2004/05 long term production test • 2005 start of drilling the new well
Planned operations • 2005/06 completion of the well (4500 md) • 2006 communication experiment, including tracer test • 2007 power plant in cooperation with industry
Exploration • More than 300 km of reprocessed seismic data • The I-GET project, comprising • Long seismic profiles with 3-component geophones • MT profiles parallel to seismic lines • => integrated interpretation, joint inversion • Hydaulic and thermal modelling, 3D modelling • Rock Physics: Laboratory determination of physical properties at in-situ conditions (permeability, pore pressure, fluid chemistry, el. resistivity, seismic velocities)
