Immediate Challenge • Bike Protocol • No peak-hour restriction • No surcharge • Bicyclists’ Travel Behavior • 6% of weekday passengers bring bikes on train • 2% of weekday passengers park bikes at stations • 2% of bicyclists get bumped (one time survey) • Bicyclists’ Needs • Bikes on board to complete end of trip and/or use multiple stations • Information about on-board bike capacity to plan trips • Safe and convenient access and parking options at stations (27% of SF bike facility users used to bring bikes on board)
