Progress of Civil works under SSAfrom 2002-03 to Dec 2007 • Civil Works • Out of total 2006 new school buildings, 1437 buildings have been completed and remaining works are in progress. • Out of total 12,377 additional classrooms, 10114 has been completed and remaining works are in progress. • National Program of Education for Girls at Elementary Level (NPEGEL) • Out of total 414 rooms, 319 have been completed and remaining works are in progress. • Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) • Out of 9 KGBVs, one has been completed, another is nearing completion and 7 works are in progress. These are likely to be completed in 3-4 months.

  10. Progress of Civil works for the year 2007-08 (up to December 2007) • Out of total 308 NSB (U.P.), works have been started in 287. As for the remaining 21 works will start shortly. • Out of total 1219 ACRs, 41 have been completed, 1171 are in progress and 7 are yet to be started. • Out of total 2754 separate Girls’ Toilets, 234 have been completed, 2520 are in progress. These are likely to be completed by end of Feb’ 08. • Out of total 726 Electrification works, 315 have been completed and 411 are in progress. These are likely to be completed by end of Feb’08. • Out of total 165 major repair works, 45 are in progress and are likely to be completed by end of March ‘ 08.
