  3. Is learning changing?Is teaching changing?

  4. Think about the evolution of the internet in our daily lives. social networking, smartphones, laptops, tablets, online banking, e-readers, streaming tv, news, email, etc.

  5. Like it or not, the world has gone digital.

  6. What does this change? How we communicate Speed/accessibility of information Attention spans Convenience of tasks Loss of privacy

  7. Where does this leave us? Feeling pressured Out of comfort zone Lack of resources

  8. Step 1: Find Resources Follow blogs/websites (use a rss feed) Online bookmarking (diigo) Join a pln

  9. WARNING: You may become easily overwhelmed. Just take a deep breath and keep it in perspective.

  10. You need to give yourself a positive boost occasionally. There are many ways to do this.

  11. Step 2: Create technology integration goals for yourself Keep them simple at first

  12. Long Term Apps Project Apps Short Term Apps Websites, Online Games, Streaming media, Web 2.0 tools Digital Storytelling, Podcasting, Microsoft Office Class Website, Wiki, Blog

  13. Long Term Application:The Online Hub Whether you prefer a traditional classroom website, wiki, or blog option – this is the best way to start transitioning to a digital form.

  16. Audacity is the recording program available to use for podcasting.
