Opening Ceremony Questionnaire Facts • 32 persons participated in the Opening Ceremony Questionnaire Survey. • The opening ceremony consisted of a variety of speakers and the rules of engagement for Cohort 7.
This presentation will: • Display the responses to the Opening Ceremony Questionnaireby the use of charts, graphs and tables to visually display the range of responses • Highlight the unique and diverse responses made to the more elaborate questions.
Did You Attend The Opening Ceremony? Majority of the attendees of Day 2 class confirmed that they attended the Opening Ceremony.
If yes, did you find yourself laughing about any part of it since? Most participants did not answer this question. We are left to conclude that they did not find any aspect funny or must not have had a sense of humour.
If yes, what did you laugh about? Due to the fact that most persons did not find anything funny about the Opening Ceremony, most participants did not answer this question. Mr. Jenkins’ methods was seen as the funniest part of the class as quite a number of students found his class rules to be funny such as the odour and hygiene rule.
What do you think were the 3 most important points? • Several responses were generated. Below states the most common responses that were received: • Past students’ advice and testimonials • Discipline • Respect for others • Singing the national anthem • Class expectations • Being oriented • Course benefits • Communication • Attendance requirements • Mentorship • Group establishment • Leadership qualities • Dress code • Assignments
Have you used anything taught at the first session since? 18 persons did not answer this question, however 12 persons stated that they were able to use information that they learnt.
If so, what was it? • Several responses were received. Below states the most common responses that were received: • Respect for colleagues • Organization • Assignment guidelines • Communication skills • Listening skills • 3P’s (Perseverance, Passion and Patience) • Punctuality • Cricket analogy • Breathing technique • Time management
What did you not like? 10% of the respondents did not like the room temperature.
What did you not understand? Most participants stated that they understood all of the course contents.
Has the team done anything as a group since class ended on Wednesday? Majority of groups have been working together after the opening ceremony.
If yes, what? Most teams created a group chatfor communication purposes.
Did you call any of your group members? Most of the team mates did not converse via telephone.
Did you email any of your group members? Very little participants used email to communicate.
Why is contact with your group members important? Most of the cohort believes connecting & communicating is the most important part of group contact in order to complete assignments.
