Environmental Management • The RFT will contain expectations for Contractor environmental management. • Projects with a high risk of environmental impact will have specific requirements: • Environmental Management Plan (EMP); • Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP); • Weed Management Plans (WMP); and • Cultural Heritage Restrictions (Refer AAPA).
Environmental Approvals • DoI intent is to have relevant environmental approvals in place for all projects: • Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA); • Land Council; • Impact Statement; and • Notice of Intent • DoI Environment Services available at all periods of the contract for advice regarding contract requirements • environment.doi@nt.gov.au
Safety Management Plan • Audit focus on ‘Construction Projects’ • Projects value $250,000 or > • Review of plans to confirm compliance to tender and contract requirements. • DoI intent is to support positive safety outcomes for all key stakeholders.
