An interesting article that adds value to the portfolio. 2. Lucid Dreams (written) – You’ve selected an interview style that fits the website stylistically and brings a local music element to the site. Technically it works. Could have been more selective in your content e.g. could have cut out section of how they forget to rehearse for 6 weeks! Having said that it adds humour. 3. Fashion in Sheffield - Infographic Clearly rushed and lacking in development. It is not really a piece of content but an elaborate presentation of survey results. 4. Rappers And Their Influence On Fashion (written) - satisfactory application of feature writing skills e.g. paragraphing, structure, use of direct and indirect quotes, and use of captioned photographs. The topic is appropriate and you have applied research findings effectively. 5. I feel you need to develop your sense of how to develop a discussion and incorporate interview material. Your quote from tom Jackson leaves me wanting him to explain what he has said. 6. Some of your choices reflect a lack of understanding of journalistic conventions and engaging the reader e.g. the quote you have highlighted works more if the piece was a personal profile of Shaw Fowler. The quote about discrimination would have worked better. You have showcased some great visual and aesthetic flar as well as very good technical skills.
