Transmission Inspections • All critical lines have been inspected. • The complete system has been inspected aerially twice since January, 2006. • Comprehensive walking/climbing and groundline inspections are underway as part of the 6 year inspection program. • By August will be 80% complete.
Vegetation Management • Transmission: • 230kV ROW vegetation inspections are complete and all hazard tree conditions have been addressed. • 115kV ROW vegetation inspections are 60% complete and crews are currently working on hazard trees. Completion Date: July 31st • 46kV ROW vegetation patrols and hazard tree removals are scheduled. Completion Date: August 31st.
Vegetation Management • Distribution: • 3 phase ROW vegetation trim and removal of hazardous conditions are 85% complete.Completion Date: June 17th • Working well with home owners and land owners.
Sweeps and Backlogged Repairs • Transmission: • All repairs to the system that were caused by Ivan, Dennis and Katrina have been completed. There are no backlogged repairs pending. • Distribution: • Restoration process minimized post storm repairs. • Patrolled main line of all feeders. • Loose down guys • Slack primary • Leaning poles
