  2. （二） 初次見主，我的安舒現今是在哪裏？ Where is the blessedness I knew, When first I saw the Lord? 當我初次發現耶穌，喜樂消逝何地？ Where is the soul-refreshing view Of Jesus and His word?

  3. （三） 從前我享何等交通，回憶仍是甘甜！ What peaceful hours I once enjoyed! How sweet their memory still! 現今留下痛苦虛空，無何可以補滿。 But they have left an aching void That world can never fill.

  4. （四） 回來, 聖鴿! 求袮即回, 甘甜, 安息使者! Return, O holy Dove, return, Sweet messenger of rest! 我恨使袮生悲的罪，使袮離我若捨。 I hate the sins that made Thee mourn And drove Thee from my breast.

  5. （五） 我所認識，不論什麼最可寶貝偶像， The dearest idol I have known, Whate'er that idol be, 使我扯它離袮寶座，對袮完全傾向。 Help me to tear it from Thy throne, And worship only Thee.

  6. （六） 我是如此與神同行，心境安靜、屬天； So shall my walk be close with God, Calm and serene my frame; 有光照明我的途徑，直到救主身邊！ So purer light shall mark the road That leads me to the Lamb.
