Pre-Course Selection Assignment • Complete all 3 parts of the assignment • Take a screen shot of your myBlueprint dashboard (home screen) and print screen shot • Hand in printout to homeroom teacher by Wed. Dec. 18th • This will help you choose your courses for next year!
Implement A Plan Choosing Grade 12 Courses • Complete diploma requirements • 30 credits - 18 compulsory, 12 optional • Grade 12 English • Compulsory credits from Group 1, 2 & 3 • 40 hours, OSSLT • Complete post secondary prerequisites • Have a backup pathway plan
Summary of Course Requirements for Different Pathways Admission to University • Grade 12 “U” level English • Five other grade 12 “U” or “M” level courses • Program specific requirements Admission to College • Grade 12 English at the “C” or ‘U” level • Program specific requirements • May include grade 11 courses Workplace All pathways lead to the workplace Apprenticeship All course types could lead to this pathway. Technical courses and co-op are beneficial. Requirements vary by program
