Response begins locally • Municipalities and Townships are the first level of government to respond • The Lake County Stormwater Management Commission is the county’s lead agency for flood response. • Daily flood briefings began on April 10th. • Coordinate with partners to make sure everyone is ready for possible flooding.
Lake County is fully engaged Municipalities are fully engaged Stormwater Management, Emergency Management, Public Works, IT, LCDOT, Health Dept, Sheriff, Communications, County Administrator, County Board, Planning, Building, & Development, Finance Municipal Departments: Public Works, Police, Fire, Building, Elected Officials
