Opening Act: Tuesday 12/4 Agenda: Monday 12/4 • People turning their HW in should place their HW in the black HW tray on top of the black bookcase right away. • Block 7 today if your HW was not turned in on Friday or Today • Before taking your seat, everyone needs 1 copy of both of the handouts on the black cart by the board • Take your seat and take out the rest of your Matildaville resources • Put your electronic devices either on your desk or in a pocket/bag • Senior Shirt Order Forms for you if you were absent Friday • Due with payment (check made out to OCSA) by Wednesday 12/12-Do not be late • Mayor’s Memo • Matildaville Assessment Discussion • Start working • HW- Your Matildaville Assessments are due Wednesday 12/12 on time. Those with an extension still available can turn theirs in on Friday 12/14, no later • Use time wisely • You will have all of Thursday 12/6 & Monday 12/10 to work • Communicate with your group on what each group member needs to do at home to be prepared to work on the work days
Memo Correction Guidelines • You must have all of your materials. I do not have any extras • Use the notebook paper I provide to correct the text of your memo. • You do not need to rewrite the whole paper. • For each section where you lost points, use that number and provide the required information. This way, I can look over your corrections and know exactly what area your corrections are fixing. • If your demand curve was just missing some small detail like a heading or a label, simply make this correction on your curve • If your Demand Curve was not a Demand Curve, redraw one on the graph paper I provide. Review Chapter 4, Section 1 if you forgot what one looks like
For the next few minutes discuss the following terms and questions with your group or people sitting near you. Be prepared to share your answers & ideas if you are selected. • What does it mean to invest? • What is stock? • What is a bond? • How are stocks and bonds similar? How are they different? • What are interest rates? What do they mean for borrowers? What do they mean for lenders?
