Computer gaming • Computer addiction • Generally regarded as social issues • Significant health problem, can lead to internet addiction disorder, (IAD) • Consequences of addiction can be extreme, eg. family breakups, job loss, dropping out of school • Symptoms of addition include: • Users crave computer time • Unable to stop computer activity • Neglect family and friends
