Two types of Assessments are: Assessment FOR Learning and Assessment OF learning The Assessment OF Learning • Reason to check where the students are • To Inform others of how the student is learning • The focus standards and benchmarks which are the focal point of the instruction (summative assessments ) • Teacher’s role administer the learning and use the results to develop classroom tests and assign grades to show achievement. • Student’s goal meet the standard in order to avoid failure.

  13. Conclusion Assessing learning and Integrating Assessment will establish effective tools to develop cognitive learning. Assessment before the learning will set the foundation of the learning process to have successful student achievement.
