NCC-ILR Discussion List • A Google Group for the purpose of discussing information literacy issues, especially as related to East Asian studies • Relevant messages forwarded from ALA’s ili listserv • Forty-nine members • Low traffic to date; please join us by searching for us on Google Groups or contacting any Task Force member!

Survey of AskEASL Guides • Reviewed more than 30 guides to resources of all kinds • Assessed their currency and relevance to IL • Moved to portal as is, requested permission when needed, designated for updating, or declared obsolete • Updated guides include those to China Academic Journals and Nikkei Telecom 21; others are in progress
New Content and Links • Rob Britt’s comprehensive workshop on Japanese legal resources, a lesson plan with handouts • Chiaki Sakai’s new CiNii guide • Links to NDL Japanese-language guides • Link to Harvard’s Introduction to Data Resources for Japan
Going Forward • Review all past workshops with the goal of obtaining materials appropriate for the site • Continue updating former askEASL guides and soliciting guides to new resources • Create a tutorial
We Need You • Dust off any lesson plans, exercises, workshop materials, guides, etc, you have created in the past and share them with us! • Let us know when you develop new materials that we can post on the portal or link to. • Give us your feedback on the portal site.
