Your Moment of Need. Mark 5.21-24.   21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around Him while He was by the lake. 22 Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet.

  2.   21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around Him while He was by the lake.

  3. 22 Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet

  4. 23 and pleaded earnestly with Him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.

  5. 24 So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around Him.

  9. I. We Need to be Humble • Prayer is our secret weapon; an admission of weakness and the single most important expression of true dependence on God.

  10. II. We Need to Have Hope • Hope is not about what others think or our own prejudices but about being at the feet of Jesus

  11. II. We Need to Have Hope • How often when these situations occur do we have to search for God? • When we should be near Him already…

  12. Life Points Hope is the certainty that God is control no matter how the situation turns out.

  13. Life Points Jesus is always at the ready.

  14. Life Points We need to focus less on the circumstances and more on the one who controls the circumstances

  15. Life Points Faith is in God and everything else rests upon that faith
