Meeting with family members of disappeared people. • From the conversation with the family members of the disappeared people, we know more things:- • they have still in psychological problem. • They have not easily socially accepted as a half widow. • They have no proper livelihood options even they are trying to involve in saving group. • Still they do not have freedom to move from their place to another place and vice versa. • Second marriage is not socially accepted in Tamil community. • They are struggling very much for solving their hand to mouth problem and their children’s Education. • Still they have been facing the security threat. • They have a kind of mental torture from the family, their relatives and no good response from the community. • While we were talking with them they have expressed their very deep feelings and expecting something good from the international society. In our observation, they will fell little bit relief from the sharing their story and sentiments with us because we are facing similar problem in our respective countries. • By these conversation, we have known that the International laws on human rights and SriLankan laws are not implementing for expose the disappeared people’s situation, relief and rehabilitation.
