  3. Life Span: 250 years • Creation/History: Created my Aule the Smithwhich all dwarves are descended from. • Skills: great medal workers, smiths and stone workers.

  4. Notable characters • Gimli is a member of the fellowship of the ring. Participates in the war of the ring. Favors the axe as his weapon. • ThorinOakenshieldis the leader of the company of dwarves that went to reclaim the Lonely Mountain. Is a cunning warrior but not a clever leader. • Dain Ironfoot participated in the battle of the five armies and became the king after Thorin was killed.
