As a member of her high school Orchestra, Jessica Kahal got the chance to be a part of their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater. Jessica Kahal’s Performance at the Renowned Armstrong Theater • As a member of her high school Orchestra, Jessica Kahal got the chance to be a part of their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater. • She was the featured flutist and also a featured student conductor in the concert. • The highlights of the orchestra program included the Theme from Forest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I.
Her Solo Flute Performance on “Danny Boy” On the Emotion-Charged Date of Sept. 11 • Jessica Kahal performed with her high school choir in a candlelight memorial for the 9/11 attacks. • For her solo flute performance, she chose her favorite “Danny Boy” that left everyone present in the school’s amphitheater touched. • Apart from that, there were many other performances that got huge appreciation, including the one by combined choirs that sang “America the Beautiful” and “This is My Country”.
