  2. Tinea VersicolorTreatment • Relief is temporary and recurrences are common • Hypopigmented areas will take seveal months to repigment

  3. Medications • Selenium sulfide shampoos • Wash, leave on for 10 minutes. • Topical miconazole, clotrimazole, econazole, ciclopirox BID for 14 days. • Topical ketoconazole qD for 14 days. • Oral ketoconazole, 400mg. Take med, sweat hard, don’t wash x 24 hours. May repeat every month PRN.
