  3. History Two years ago I was at RESNA conference, and was shown how a picture could speak within PowerPoint.

  6. Communication Use I started thinking why not use PowerPoint for communication.

  22. “How to”Make PowerPoint Talk with Mouse Click • Open PowerPoint • Select Format • Select Slide Layout • Choose Blank • Align Text • Add Text • Rectangle Placement • Format Rectangle • Add Speech

  30. Format Shape Make rectangle clear Right click on rectangle Click Format AutoShape Make rectangle have no outline

  31. Copy/Paste Clear (invisible) Rectangle on each cell Right click on clear rectangle Click Copy Click Paste Pull clear rectangle over each cell

  32. Record /Download Speech Wav Files • Make a speech folder to organize all wav files

  33. Add Speech to each Clear Rectangle Right on clear rectangle Click on Action Settings Choose other sounds Click play sound

  36. Scan Step • Make you table with text or icons • Copy • Hit Ctrl +V equal to the number choices or cells • Highlight cells • Cover slide with clear rectangle • Set to Loop • Slide Transition • Arrow Option

  40. Highlight Cells Make Clear Choose Color Format Choose Weight
