Your generous contributions last year helped hundreds in need with emergency assistance, counseling sessions for children, educational opportunities, improved accessibility, enhanced senior independence, afterschool scholarships, financial literacy education, and much more. By working with local organizations and communities, United Way of Wayne County is building a stronger, healthier, and more supportive environment for all residents. 75 additional people participated in programs at the Wayne County YMCA each week because of new equipment and expanded classes. uwlc.net
13 seniors maintained their independence in their own homeswith either portable air conditioning units or heaters uwlc.net
14 additional 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Lakeside were able to have a safe place to go after school with scholarships at CTC uwlc.net
11 students from Wayne County school districts utilized Devereux’s School to Transition Services uwlc.net
An inflatable boat and motor were purchased by the Honesdale Fire Company, enabling the department to respond to multiple water emergencies. uwlc.net
