Portfolio • An analysis of 3 websites using the criteria developed in Assignment 1. • A rationale for your choice of websites • A design brief and plan for a website for a business idea, which could either come from the Innovation and Ideas Generation or Double Project units • A bibliography of articles and on-line sources used to monitor developments in Internet technology

  4. 1. Analysis of 3 websites • Each analysis should include the following elements: • A completed criteria for the website • A report analysing the website

  5. Report • URL for the website • Analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of website based on your criteria (50%). The analysis should be based on an analysis of how well the website meets the goals of the business. • Suggestions for improving website (50%) • No more than 2 sides of A4.

  6. 2. Rationale for choice of websites • Should explain why you have chosen the 3 websites. • No more than 1 side of A4.

  7. 3. Design brief and plan for a website for a business idea • Explanation of your business idea (10%) • Explanation of design principles upon which your website will be designed (20%) • Description of design elements website will include (25%) • Explanation of how website will meet the goals of your business idea (25%) • Plan detailing the design stages need for your website (20%). This can be presented as either a diagram or in writing.

  8. 4. Bibliography • Should provide evidence of independent monitoring of developments within world of website design and e-Marketing.
