  4. NEED? • NEED – SOMETHING YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT. A NESSECITY OR SOMETHING THAT IS REQUIRED TO LIVE.

  5. EXAMPLES OF NEEDS • SHELTER • FOOD/WATER • CLOTHING- APROPRIATE FOR WEATHER • SHOES • TRANSPORTION • HEAT • ELECTRICITY

  6. Exception Cell phone – we don’t really need a cell-phone but it is always safe to be able to communicate in certain situations.

  7. WANTS AND NEEDS WHY IS THE DIFFRENCE SO IMPORTANT ? • People waste money on there wants then end up having not enough money for there needs. Therefor that is not a healthy life style

  8. What you need to know • In life we will usually cannot afford to have everything that we want, so we must prioritize by putting what we really need first. • Prioritize- to arrange (items to be attended to) in order of their relative importance.

  9. FINAL ACTIVITY • TAKE OUT THE FOLLOWING- • 1 SHEET OF PAPER • GLUE STICK • PENCIL • SCISSORS OBJECTIVE • MAKE A LINE WITH YOUR PENCIL THROUGH HALF OF THE PAPER. LABEL ONE SIDE “NEEDS” AND THE OTHER “WANTS”. CUT EACH PICTURE OUT THEN GLUE EACH PICTURE TO THE SIDE YOU THINK IT BELONGS.
