Forward-looking cooperation projects Priority 6: Reforming higher education to make it more diversified, responsive and competitive Proposals welcome under any of the 5 pillars of the EU Agenda for the Modernisation of Higher Education Support to EU tools for modernisation Education and Culture

Forward-looking cooperation projects • Priority 6: Reforming higher education to make it more diversified, responsive and competitive • Developing relevant, innovative and multidisciplinary learning and teaching strategies; • Reinforcing the role of teachers in student success, offering training for the development of professional skills and exploring new and creative pedagogies; • Reinforcing thelearning outcomes-based approach in higher education, including their role in assessment ofgraduate skills; • Developing new strategies at system or institutional level for enhancing the effective autonomy of institutions and their ability to set strategic direction; • Allowing easy sharing, exchange or transfer of data, for example by enabling digital student data portability; • Facilitating learning mobility, for example in the provision of affordable accommodation for Erasmus+ students.

Forward Looking Cooperation Projects • Proposed and managed by major stakeholders capable of influencing EU policy agenda and long-term impact • Developing innovative policy approaches with the potential of being mainstreamed and giving input for improving educational policies • Supporting trans-national cooperation focusing on emerging issues

Forward Looking Cooperation Projects • Composition: Minimum 3 organisations from 3 programme countries • Duration: between 24 and 36 months • Budget: up to 500.000€ (maximum co-financing rate of 75% of eligible project costs) • Management: centralised to EACEA • Start date: between 1 Nov 2015 and 1 Jan 2016 Education and Culture

Foster intense, structured and long term cooperation among HEIs and with key stakeholders to contribute to achieving the objectives of the HE Modernisation Agenda KA2 opportunities • Promote, develop and implement long-lasting structured partnerships between business and academia to strengthen Europe's innovation capacity, stimulate entrepreneurship, stimulate two-way knowledge exchange between HEIs and enterprises and foster excellence and innovation Strategic Partnerships Knowledge Alliances Education and Culture
