  2. Step One • Start by selecting slide layout such as title only so have room to insert graphic components • Insert picture you want to appear in background • Send picture to back

  3. Step Two • Make sure the drawing tool bar is showing on bottom. • Click on the autoshapes menu • Select lines • Select the freeform tool. (Second row, second selection.

  4. Step Three • Using the freeform tool, click on the slide and begin to make first puzzle shape. • Continue to left mouse click as you shape your puzzle piece. • Click on spot where started puzzle piece to finish piece. • Your piece should automatically fill if you have connected it correctly. • Change colors as you desire.

  6. Step Four • If you would like to add text to your puzzle piece, click on the text tool in the drawing toolbar. • Draw a textbox and type text. • Select both the puzzle piece and text box and group as one. • Continue building puzzle pieces as needed.

  8. Step Five • Make sure to group each puzzle piece and text box before animating • To animate your puzzle pieces, go to custom animation either on the slide show menu or by right mouse clicking • Animate puzzle pieces as desired. • Congratulations. You have a make a puzzle PowerPoint.
